It all begins with trusting yourself and the process.
Design for me has come to mean art. My first love was art; in the traditional sense of what most may think of, pen to paper, paint to canvas. While in school for graphic design I had one professor who helped me see that design is and can be art and that we as designers are artists. This way of thinking has helped shape the way in which I create when designing.
I like to take a problem or task and find an artistic way to achieve a solution. Artistic in the sense of creating aesthetically pleasing and functional solutions. I received my BFA in Graphic Design from Suffolk University. I am interested in design and illustration projects where both I and the client can be creative and stretch our thinking.
